In 1985 England was banned from International club football because Italian fans died as a result of English fans behavior. The ban helped and England transformed itself into a model of stadium safety and hooligan control.

70 people died at the an Egyptian football game yesterday. Does anyone out there care enough about the Egyptian fan to ban Egypt. If a country’s government intervenes in decision making in football, FIFA bans the country from international football. Isn’t the death of fans in a football stadium at least equally important.

If FIFA cares about the lives of Egyptian fans they should ban Egypt from International Football.
