Two remarks regarding the sensational result in Barcelona.
1. The Premier League brand suffered this season – with it’s two elite team failing dismally failing in European competition. But it’s sending it’s 8th team to the last eight finals – so it deceives all the respect. It’s teams can still produce fighting spirit Chelsea showed tonight. Losing their captain, their lead, but not their battle instincts.
2. Following the failure to retain their Spanish and European crowns, Barcelona should go ahead and sign manger Pep Guardiola on a long term contract.
