Financial Fair Play is not a good idea to begin with.
It isn’t designed to bring fair play or an equal playing field but merely protect the dominance of Europe’s big clubs. But don’t worry about it – It’s not happening. Manchester City and PSG are blatantly ignoring the rules. So will Real Madrid if they will need a few players.
Even if Michel Platini wanted to – I doubt if it’s possible to open the Real Madrid books or track secret payments originating in the Persian Gulf. But the situation is even more simple than that: Platini wants to be FIFA President. He is not going to confront Arab or Russian money. He is not going to ban in infringing club. He will do nothing until his election to the FIFA Presidency in 2015.
Actually, if UEFA will need some money, he can always fine them 100,000 Euros for breaking the rules.
